touchscreen not working – (no function-just dump)

I , Sanjay S Bhavsar, your registered consumer(9923569334),I purchased a SmarTab 7 inches MT12-AID/Color black on 01/11/2012 from STAR CJ LIVE and received the same on 13/11/2012 (already I got too late after launching 4 complaints).

I bought this Tab as a birthday gift to my so which was on 14/11/2012, I gifted him on 13/11/2012 midnight and to our surprise the back and the menu button (nothing) on the touch screen stopped working within 24 hrs of use. Even after charging battery for 6 hrs.

This was a shock to me and my son as this was a surprise gift and now this awful product is not working.
I‘ve paid 7000 to buy this and it’s a lot of money to me.

Immediately I called Star CJ who advised me to call you guys and report the fault. I called you on 15/11/2012 around 12.00 pm and was advised to send the Tab as its needs to be replaced since it’s faulty.

As advised I m returning the Tablet along with a letter of complaint and a copy of purchase invoice. Please either replace the product or refund the amount which I paid to you.
I am sending my product for replacement, not for repairing.

I’m looking forward for a satisfying reply to this matter as it has caused pain and stress. I will wait for a week before turning to consumer forum and other appropriate authorities. I can be contacted on 9923569334 and 7875609057.
